The ‘Find a Library’ Mobile App

Developed for the Collections Trust using Culture Grid, ‘Find a Library’ is a mobile app targeted at both iPhone and Android users. This easy to use interface allows users to search for UK library locations and will display detailed information where available. Users can also help improve the data by visiting libraries and use their mobile phone to pinpoint the exact location and report updates about library details.

The UI for the project was developed in Google Web Toolkit and uses the SOLR Culture Grid Service, developed by Knowledge Integration, to power the search and location services.
